in l4d 1 the main strategy was to just get in a corner with everyone and slap. in left4dead2 this strategy wont work at all. Dispite it still looking kind of like the same game there are many, many, many significant changes/upgrades.
4 new characters
5 new campaigns.
- Each campaign is longer
- Each campaign is harger
- Each campaign has a special "event" which affects the gameplay
- Each campaign has a unique "uncommon infected" which have special attributes
3 New special infected
5 New "uncommon" infected with special attributes
2 New game types
More zombies in each horde
New Melee weapons
3x's the weapons
New items such as AED and boomer bile
and much more that i cant even remember to mention right now. the demo does it no justice. You cant imagine how awesome it is to run through a field and it suddenly starts raining, and the zombies are enraged by it so endless hordes come at you with increased speed and strength when you can barely see them through the thick downpour.
