Toothbrush A.H Spinbrush, how does it charge?

I went out and got me a Arm and hammer Spinbrush Pro clean rechargeable toothbrush. How the hell does it charge? The directions say to plug into wall then put the handle in the holder. Well neither the handle or holder have any kind of contact points, its all plastic. Am I retarded or am I missing something?

Apprently I am not up to the times of things anymore

"It works like a transformer - there's a coil on the base and another coil inside the toothbrush, an oscillating current is passed through the base coil all the time and so when you set the toothbrush on it, the toothbrush coil now has a current so it can charge a battery."

Re: Toothbrush A.H Spinbrush, how does it charge?

It charges by putting a ton of voltage into the air around the base.  Nikola Tesla did the same thing a LONG time ago.  He used a huge Tesla coil to light a light bulb he was simply holding in his hand 2 miles away from any power source. The coil literally charges the air, same preclinical applies the the new power mat.  Tesla believe the whole world could be powered wirelessly.

The crazy thing is he figured it out almost a 100 years ago, were finally just catching up. He figured out a/c current before there was even a fricken light bulb.

Re: Toothbrush A.H Spinbrush, how does it charge?

i think it only works on simple circuits, ones with just a positive negative, source of resistance and maybe a switch.  If you actually look at the power mat its not really wireless, as you have to install adapters onto the devises you want to charge.

Wireless powermat my ass, you can clearly see 90% of the devices need a wired connection to charge...
