Acoustic versions of Christmas songs?

Hi y'all, the Holidays are here!

I heard an acoustic version of a Christmas song over the radio, I think it was "Carol of the Bell"

Anyways, does anyone know acoustic versions of christmas songs? Particularly "Carol of the Bell"?

Trans-Siberian Orchestra does a cool acoustic-ish version of that.

The entire Bright Eyes Christmas Album is pretty amazing too.

yeah i heard of the TSO version, though that was was more metal/rock than anything.

I'm specifically looking for guitar version of the song I guess.

Re: Acoustic versions of Christmas songs?

Check out blip.fm -- I just used that and was able to stream several acoustic versions of that song on a search of "carol of the bells acoustic" -- one of them is probably what you heard.

Re: Acoustic versions of Christmas songs?

The traditional version is technically acoustic as it is a capella and therefore sans any sort of accompaniment ...that said, if you're talking about playing Carol of the Bells on a guitar, then I don't want to even know about it. Don't fuck with my christmas music.
