Hit a median today... Version..... don't sleep behind the wheel...

So yeah, after work this morning I hit a damn median. My drivers side wheel and tire are done, control arms are probably shot, strut & spring, probably brakes too cause my abs light stayed on after hitting it. my driver's side front wheel was rubbing on the car... got it towed to a body shop... will get estimate and then insurance adjuster is coming to the shop tomorrow too....

crappy cell pics....

i think its going to be hard for the body shop to find one wheel... even if i find one, it will be hard to match the color of the other 3... might have to got with flat black or something if i get a new wheel.

screw that, any half decent body shop will have a laser color tester. or atleast be able to eye out the color to a 80% match. its really not so hard?

im serious, i love those wheels, i was gna buy them at one point but i like mines just as much it pains me to see them go away =(

Re: Hit a median today... Version..... don't sleep behind the wheel...

And what's the moral of this story kids? Don't fall asleep behind the wheel!

Glad you're okay! From what I see, looks like you almost need a whole new suspension. But I could be wrong.
