Re: Do you heel-and-toe when driving?

I rev-match when downshifting whenever possible... old motorcycle habit. I haven't really figured out heel-toe yet.

I used double faced tape on the gas pedal. I used like the 3m mounting tape, and doubled it up on the top half of the pedal to make it contour to the gas pedal properly, and held it on with c-clamps to make sure it adheres fully. It seems sturdy and I didn't have to drill holes.

Really . I can't picture gas pedal staying put with just double side tapes....

Mine are attached with double sided tape too.
Which pedals? And how long have you been driving with them?
Is it possible to just mount them over the oem pedals?
The XenonExpert ones and I have been driving with them for 2+ years on 2 track days, multiple canyon runs, drag racing, street driving. I also heel toe with them and they haven't come off yet.

This is only for the gas pedal, the brake and clutch is attached with screws, but they can be covered up with the stock OEM rubber cover while the gas pedal is just plastic. That is one of the reason why I wanted to attached the gas pedal with double sided tape so I don't ruin the OEM pedals.

I have the XenonExpert pedals waiting in my closet for the weather to get nicer. I have all holes drilled but the gas pedal. i want to do tape as well. Did you glue the rubber to the pedal and then tape it down? Im wondering whats going to keep the pedal from slipping off the rubber.
Yes I glued the rubber to the pedal on all 3 pedals.

I was curious as to how many people heel-and-toe when just driving around town. I heel-and-toe at every turn, and every time I need to downshift while braking. I have asked people at my school who I know drive stick shifts, but none of them have heard of it, lol. But none of them are car people.

Yeah, i do heel-and-toe driving when i am just going around town. I find it the most effective way to get around. I am definitely a car person so you can trust my opinion. The people at your school don't understand driving like you and I. We own the road.
