Mono output on an ipod?

At work I only have 1 earbud in. I looked through the settings to see if I could change it from stereo to mono, as some songs I have use the dual channels for different guitar tracks. There doesnt seem to be a setting, so anyone have any ideas?

Re: Mono output on an ipod?

You would have to convert all your songs to Mono in iTunes.

Just convert some of the songs and place them in a separate playlist just for work.

Or cram both earbuds in the same ear. DPFTW.

Re: Mono output on an ipod?

My right ear is actually smaller, it is extremely difficult for me to keep an earbud in my right ear. Jamming them both in my left would be ridiculous .

Re: Mono output on an ipod?

I don't see why you can't just wear them both and keep the volume lower? I'm assuming you are trying to ensure you aren't too isolated?

I have full coverage headphones and I crank that shit. If someone wants my attention they can bang on my desk I have a convex mirror where I will usually see anyone behind me anyway.
