wow, i would so hate to clean up that mess. Things like power jacks and fork lifts weigh a lot, have to be really careful using them.

I used to be LP and Safety MGR for Lowe's..and I can tell you. Those racks weren't safe to begin with if they all came down from that hit. I've seen racks get hit that hard if not worse and only dent. Looks like that was in Russia so it was probably a warehouse made out of wood..

Re: Fork Lift accident......way to go on that one!!!

A friend from high schools Dad used to run a 3 store building supply company. He had an employee killed because 20 tons of roof shingles came down on him when he was driving a forklift. He rammed the racks going in reverse really, really fast by accident. It broke one of the supports and dropped the whole thing. OSHA investigated and the only two issues they found were insufficient forklift safety training and lack of hard hats (not like a hard hat is going to save you when 40,000lbs of shingles falls right smack on you).

That gif is the video I posted. Still works for me!!!

I agree it was probably the fault of the shelving. I work with heavy equipment everyday, and if the shelving was installed correctly, it might have collapsed but not brought the house down!!!!!!!
