Cubicle Warfare

I win!!!!
Well being the newest guy I get the shaft for everything at work. But today I really lucked out. So here's what happened.

I started here, had a great spot to sit, nice desk, window, close to the higher ups... then we had a big re-organization and all the senior staff was moved to where I was and the cubicles along the outer wall with windows. I had my window taken away from me.

Then last week we were re-organized again and the higher ups were moved to the main office with the middle management getting offices and regular employees (like me) would get window spots. Unfortunately there were 5 window spots and 7 people going for them... since I'm the newest guy long story short I got the shaft.

On Monday one of the middle management people with an office got mad and walked out. Now another guy I work with who got the shaft on an office gets his old office (the office that the guy who walked out had)... and I get his old cubicle with a window, and a table.

I win... newest guy has the nicest cubicle now... w00t!

Like I said before... I'm not sure if I want to be a rider. If I ever do decide to do it, I will be starting small! lol

Re: Cubicle Warfare

God cubes suck. I have a big one though too, due to a story I don't feel like typing out. Sometimes I wish I had a window, but other times I think it's probably good I don't because I'd get even less done.

Re: Cubicle Warfare

lol my life sucks... I work in a cubicle, live in an igloo, and I don't even have a red stapler.

I swear if they move my cube one more time...

Good lord... I'd have hung myself.

Aside from being in a cube I really like my job though... so it's not that bad...

Re: Cubicle Warfare

I never worked in a cubicle but it can't be all that bad. I'm not as restless as some though.
