Verizon Wireless customers - check me out :)

My new job will be to troubleshoot phones, explain features & products and so-on. I start mentoring Monday and I'm off on my own next week so I wanted to jump-start things and put myself out there for your use. If you need any help with your phone or whatever, let me know and I'll see what I can find out for you. I won't be able to go into your account without you standing in front of me or w/e, but I'll eventually be able to help with features, services, VZ Apps, etc.

- RJ

p.s.
Android ftw.

So you can get me a Droid before they're released, right?

To quote everyone I talked to: "It doesn't, really, it just takes some getting used to... There's just a higher learning curve."

I would, however, like to hear specifics on it sucking because you're not the first I've heard that from. Many of the people I read up on, however, shouldn't have a BlackBerry in the first place. They should have an Imagio or Omnia II or something. *shrug*

I assume you're referring to the Motorola-branded Droid phone?
Either way, no.

I will say, however, that I wouldn't be sold on the Motorola. The HTC will have it as well as one or two others. I'd check those out first and get them before next year IF you can afford them.

Also, 4G is supposed to launch late-2010 and none of the current phones will support it so you'll want to save your 1-year or New Every 2 credits if you need that speed and don't want to pay mucho bucks for the supporting devices ya know?

waffles.

The Moto Droid kills the HTC phones hardware-wise, plus it has a physical keyboard. And I'm so sick of my current phone I'm not inclined to wait much past the 11-6 release date of the Droid.

The HTC has a physical keyboard?
Either way, I think hardware requirements will take a step back with Linux as the backbone. After all, it's just a phone ya know?

I'm just not inspired by Motorola phones anymore (and neither is anyone I was trained by.) Faith = lost. If they're back on their game, more power to them, but... Well, I'll just say this - my grandfather's Razr's number pad peeled off one day and vanished. *motofacepalm*

Like I said, 4G launches next year so chances are I'll either a.) wait. b.) just get whatever for now and do an annual upgrade later.

waffles.
