anyone think it's funny that sub-forums are called child forums here?

The term "child" is pretty common as it dictates hierarchy when there is a sub section of a parent category or topic.

for example! in my drafting software...when creating an assembly...when a part is placed on another part...the first part is the parent and the new part is the child...you cant delete the parent without deleting the child...it just makes sense to us as humans...cant have a child without a parent
