32" LCD HDTVs

I'm thinking about buying a new TV for my bedroom. If you have first-hand knowledge/experience with any of the following three, or other recommendations, please chime in.

* Panasonic VIERA X1 Series TC-L26X1 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

* Sony Bravia L-Series KDL-26L5000 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

* Samsung LN26B460 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

Re: 26" LCD HDTVs

I was going to buy a 26" LCD for my room, but when I was shopping for TVs, the price difference between a 26" and 32" was less than $100. I got a 32" Samsung LCD for $700. My parents recently bought a 46" Samsung LCD for $1000.

I absolutely recommend Samsung, they make excellent products IMO.

Re: 26" LCD HDTVs

Well, considering Panasonic and Samsung both have people supporting them, I'll just in and support Sony. Honestly, I've always thought of the Sony Bravia TVs as the best in the industry. I've seen plenty of them at friends houses as well as comparing them in stores and they're just outstanding.

While I cant put down Samsung or Panasonic, I can absolutely say I would buy the Bravia out of those three without seeing them in person.

On a side note: I'd go with 11011101 and upsize to 30". You may not think you *need* it, but the price difference at those sizes is negligible and its hard to argue against a larger size.

Oh, and if at any point you consider a LG product, think twice about it. LGs quality control just isnt where it should be. I've had numerous problems with their products, but one of the main ones was that my TV had to have its main circuit board replaced about 6 months after purchase because the remote stopped working.

Re: 26" LCD HDTVs

26 is kind of small for a bedroom, no?

i have the sony 32 equivalent of the 26" model you posted and I like it. However, all 4 LCDs in this house are sony...so we're a bit biased.

Re: 26" LCD HDTVs

I thought about a 32", but decided it might be a bit too large for an average size bedroom (approximately 12' x 12&#039. Given the above comments, though, perhaps I should reconsider that as a viable option.

Re: 26" LCD HDTVs

a 32" will sit slightly smaller (in width) than an average dresser if you want an approx size.

a 26" widescreen is quite small and the cost of a 32" over a 26 is quite minor.

i would definitely re-consider a 32

I have a 50" tv in my 14x14 living room, and I sometimes wish it were a 60". Just saying

Re: 26" LCD HDTVs

I recommend the Samsung. I think they have the best TVs out there right now.
Also I have a 42" in my 12x13 bedroom and don't think it's too big. Bigger is better.

Any of the 3 brands that you listed are all good but if I had to choose 1 I would go with Samsung for value and performance.

Power Stop Cross Drilled Rotors with Power Stop ceramic brake pads, Eibach Pro Kit, Eibach Rear Swaybar, SPC Camber Kit, KYB GR-2 shocks and struts, AWR Side Engine Mount, Corksport Rear Motor Mounts, Honda S2000 Antenna, Honda Civic JDM Side Markers, Vibrant Front Strut Bar, Fujita F5 CAI, Advanced Timing Mod, F2 Hi Flo Cat, Mazdaspeed Catback Exhaust, Medieval Pulleys, Mazdaspeed Satin Aluminum Gas Door Lid, Evotion Condenser, Eye Lids, Raven Wing, Open Mouth Grill
