Sinus Problems

For those of you who suffer from sinus problems such as myself, I am wondering what you do to help alleviate your symptoms. Especially since this is the time of the year when everyone seems to get sinus infections or have their symptoms flare up.

I myself have always had to ride it out and it will usually last a week with just constant nose blowing, snot rolling around in my sinuses from one side of my head to the other as I toss and turn at night.

I recently tried a Neti Pot which brings some refreshment to my nose, and Afrin Nasal Spray which helps for an hour. Other then that, I don't think meds do jack.

What do you guys do for relief?

I mean no hard feelings for what I post on this website. Anything I type/write/post/say on this forum is only that of general debate and discussion. I am not biased toward anyone or anything. I am neutral in everything I do on this website. Only those facts that are presented to me sway my thought process and siding of each discussion topic that I post about.

Re: Sinus Problems

Nasonex works for me. Just use as needed. You'll need an Rx for it.

Re: Sinus Problems

those nasal sprays are bad to use often, i think.

the only otc that works for me is claritin d. you have to show id, but it's the same as actifed used to be.
sudafed and benadryl do nothing for me.
