Sprint just stepped their game up...

I've been with Sprint for over 7 years now and have never been with any other carrier. I've always had a positive experience with them and after reading an article on www.precentral.net , I'm even more happy I'm with Sprint. Unlimited Mobile to Mobile...and not just between Sprint phones. Seriously, check it out:

I had to leave Sprint b/c there was no service where I live, and I don't live in the middle of nowhere, so it was pretty sad.

I wonder if Sprint will actually survive the next couple of years....

Same here. As soon as I sold their stock, it's been in the $2-3 range. AT&T and Verizon are moving right along.

Re: Sprint just stepped their game up...

^^ I think Sprint will continue to survive and grow. They just have to make sure they continue to enhance their services and get good phones. The HTC Hero and Palm Pixi being two decent phones they are bringing into their line this year alone. Hopefully it continues, and they don't get bought out by someone else. I'd hate to loose the great Data plan they offer.

Plus Sprint has the first 4G network.......whether they develop it fast enough and get it out is another thing...I wish they'd just switch over to GSM.

Re: Sprint just stepped their game up...

Sprint/Nextel had ok service where I live, but horrible customer service.

Infact, earlier this year I rid of my account with them, and they told me I was done and in the clear.

So I sold the phone on eBay, well two months later I received a $185 bill. I called them and they told me someone had been using it under my account in Georgia. I told them that they told me I was in the clear and could rid of the phone.

They said they would put a request to have the bill adjusted. Two weeks later I received a bill for $174. I called again and said I am not paying a dime because Sprint told me that I was in the clear and I didn't have to worry. They said well its under your name.

After remaining polite and courteous, and three Customer Service Representatives, 1 Customer Service Representative, and 1 Sprint Executive Service Member. Finally did not have to pay a dime.

But what a hassle.

I mean no hard feelings for what I post on this website. Anything I type/write/post/say on this forum is only that of general debate and discussion. I am not biased toward anyone or anything. I am neutral in everything I do on this website. Only those facts that are presented to me sway my thought process and siding of each discussion topic that I post about.

Re: Sprint just stepped their game up...

Sprint has always been fine for me. I just wish they had the iPhone. Man I want one of those so bad. I have an HTC Diamond but it uses windows mobile which is garbage. I can't justify switching to AT&T and paying $90 a month when sprint has much better monthly prices. I have the SERO plan that is no longer available. Free internet & 500 minutes for $30 a month.

Re: Sprint just stepped their game up...

As far as coverage goes, Sprint is not bad at all, as long as I don't have to deal with them directly, I'm decently happy

Their customer service is notoriously bad. Talking to their customer representatives is like... talking to a wall. Also, they have the WORST phone selection ever.

I agree with whoever wished Sprint would switch to GSM. I miss being able to get whatever phone I want with the use of a SIM card...
