whats your top speed on your GPS?

Mine has freaked out... and says my max speed is 396mph




Just got a g35, but will hang with the 3 crowed

yeah u can not trust those speeds.
unless you are at sea level, on a 100% flat road, with no wind.

I'm sure you cannot, specially with mine saying 396 lol my old garmin did the same thing... just wondering if anyone else has some crazy speed... and also pretty bored at work.

What does wind speed an elevation have do with the a gps' accuracy? And as for not being accurate, i know people who have gotten off of speeding tickets by bringing in there gps' and showing the judge they were not going the speed the cop was claiming.

GPS speeds are for the most part pretty accurate. However, if you lose signal from a satellite or three the accuracy goes out the window.
