WGMG: Someone posts a FS thread with something I am interested in buying. I PM the guy about the item(s) which i would like to purchase. We negotiate a price, tells me he'll check on shipping costs, then basically falls of the face of the planet. Come back to his FS thread to see he's updated it with more parts as well as sold stuff to another guy. Here I am still waiting..

^Lulz I know who you're talking about.

WGMG: Some cat is selling a bike on the local CL at $50, so I text him because he states on the ad that it's easier with text. I walk away from my phone and come back a little later to see that he tried to call me almost immediately after I sent the text, then sends me a text saying "Come look at it or call me." Mind you the bike is ~50 miles away so I'm not just going to look at it, I had asked him about its condition. So then I go back on craigslist to see if he left a map to the general location and the SOB updated the ad and priced it $100 more than what he had on it originally.

Why the freak are people so messed up when selling their stuff? You're trying to sell and get rid of things, awesome, but don't be a dick about it.

^Sounds like you have quite the grudge against "STANCLYFE SCHWAG y0" people. Not sure why, I respect people for doing their cars the way they want, but perhaps you have a whole backstory as to why. It's easy to be against the Form>Function guys.

Greg is just jelly he still has a gen1 and nobody cares about gen1 life anymore lol

Some stance builds do deserve respect.
A lot of them in fact.

Some of them however are just poor attempts to fit in.

What gets me about the slammed life is that people vie for everyone's attention and positive opinions about their rides. It's cool to show off your car and work but getting to the point of almost demanding attention for it, is a little out of hand.

I still dont understand.... Why is it cool to super slam a car "static" wise...I can see how Airbags are ok...you can raise the car etc....but Super Slammed static I dont get. I must be too Old Skool.

I never understood it.

I think it's a status thing; that you run hard in the paint kind of crap.

The way most normal people see it though is you're obviously just screwing up your car, and wouldn't want to buy it because the frames that do exist are all bent and scraped to hell and back.
