Re: Phantom Alert

Finally, something that will allow me to run as many red lights as possible without getting busted by Johnny Law!

Re: Phantom Alert

POI Factory has a list of red light and speed cameras that can be downloaded to Garmins and maybe TomToms. Doesn't help you if you blow past a cop, though.

Re: Phantom Alert

its loaded by fellow users (spotters)

all someone has to do is be a dick and post false information and your GPS will go crazy saying there are cameras and speed traps everywhere....doesnt seem worth it or reliable IMO

Or the local police departments.

If they add in a 'complaint' system or a way for other users to take down reports of redlight or speed cameras I can see them doing the opposite and taking them out of the system.

Re: Phantom Alert

All i know is PA and Fl are the two highest states for speed traps, I could use something like that. I never used a valentine 1 but the cobras suck ass, too many false alarms or it doesn't work period. I could literally drive by a horrible car accident with like 12 police on scene and it wouldn't make a peep, but when i'm cruising going 70 in my 65 it would go off like nuts, and nothing would be there.
