In the market for a color laser printer and scanner

Hey one of my friends is on the market for a Laser color printer and a scanner for his new office. He wants something good of course but a printer that doesn't tear thru toners. A decent scanner as well. He will be doing a lot of printing and scanner files in adobe. He wants two separate units so that if the printer breaks he can still use the scanner.

thanks

How many pages does he intend to print every day?

Additionally, does he want a scanner with a paper feeder or is a single sheet scanner ok?

He scans more than he will print since we live in a e-mail world now haha but sometimes he will need to print the documents to mail them or whatnot.
As far as the scanner it needs to be a paper feeder because he would scan 1-20 or more pages at once so it has to be a pretty good scanner.

Thanks
