Re: WWIII

Wouldn't really be a world war. Would just be everyone crushing NK after it fired off a couple nuke's at it's neighbors.

Nevermind, title is a repost but content is different.

Korea wouldn't last against us, only Russia may.

Re: WWIII

IMO, NK is all rattle, no saber. Their only interest is sustaining themselves, they won't start a nuclear war that would guarantee their absolute destruction.

Re: WWIII

The thing about this whole series of events is that North Korea is completely isolated in all of it. The major powers of the world (U.S., Britain, China and Russia) are all against NK's little policy that Kim Dong Dick is throwing around. Not to mention, if NK fired off even one nuke at the U.S. we would lose maybe a city, whereas we could literally wipe NK off the map with ours. Hopefully Dick over there is smart enough to realize that, but we've seen his kind before (remember Hitler?).

Re: WWIII

Hitler wasn't dumb, he didn't want to involve the U.S. in the war, that was japans doing. That being said I think NK is all talk.

Re: WWIII

Actually he did, but he wanted to wait until Britain and Russia were defeated. Japan got overzealous in the imperial expansion and involved the U.S. before Hitler wanted to. There's a bunch of theories that conspirators within Japan held back letters and such to the Emperor that were sent by FDR to try and work out the issues so that Japan would go to war.

Admiral Yamamoto, the guy who actually thought up and organized the attack on Pearl Harbor, even once said that if Japan "doesn't defeat the U.S. within 8 months, the American industrial power will come to full scale and Japan will lose" (paraphrased).

Kim is every bit as intelligent as Hitler, but is also much more of a raving lunatic.

Re: WWIII

Not from what i read, Hitler has no need to the US. Japans just wanted our oil reserves in the Pacific.

If Hitler hadn't gotten greedy and added an eastern front to the war, Germany would likely be a much larger country today. The phrase "one bridge too far" applies there. Our entry into the war was just the final nail in the coffin.

There aren't too many ways that a WWII w/o Russian involvement would end in our favor.

Also, FDR had long said that Europe was the priority, even after December 7. I seriously doubt we would have stayed out of the war for much longer, Japan or not.

Re: WWIII

I dig this. Been following it for awhile. I saw this coming years ago when they use to show clips of North Korea's army marching high step like Hitler's army and parading their missles through the streets. WWIII is probably out of the question since everyone is against NK. I am pleased to see China and Russia taking our side.
