How to deal with late night annoying neighbor?

This dude moved in a few months ago... since then... he been chillin' with his homies in the backyard just bullshitting and all. Having parties with 30+ easy almost every weekend. I have told them to quiet down, go inside and chat all you want, shut the fuck up, called the cops on them, etc. And, it's still not working. They just have NO respect for others (neighbors). I have been waken up around 3 AM for the past few days... and right now, 1 AM, those fuckers are in the backyard chatting and laughing it up. At this point, the cops are pretty much useless. I contacted them once at 1:30 AM, they said THEY ARE TOO BUSY. WTF?! I live in a city that has very very low violence, and I called again at 3 AM, they said the SAME thing. WTF!

How do I approach to my neighbor during the day? Should I get other neighbors that are also annoyed to complain? The house owner of that house rent this place out but I do not have the contact info. However, I do work at a real estate company to pull their names out, should I write a letter to them?

Suggestions please. I want my fucking sleep!

next time you call the cops and they tell you to fuck off, tell the officer very politely that you are you are going to get your shotgun and handle it yourself. i bet they show up.

Easy enough, start blasting insanely loud music around noon. That'll wake them up.

get the neighbors together and file a lawsuit. if it becomes too expensive for him to live there, he'll move.

Re: How to deal with late night annoying neighbor?

Our next door neighbors were like this where I grew up. My parents constantly called the cops and there's only so much they can do as there was NO noise ordinance in the town so they weren't doing anything illegal. It got so bad my mom had to get a restraining order against them because they would yell obsenities at her...of course not when cops were around. They owned the place so we were screwed. Eventually the parties were less and less and they sold the place but this went on and on for probably 10 years!!! Some people just have absolutely no respect for others and there's just not a damn thing you can do...

get a farmer to come in and "fertilize" your grass on a Friday afternoon guaranteed NO ONE will be outside until at least Monday evening

We just had a dirtbag with a Harley move in 2 doors down, nothing better than a piece of shit, gas breathing moron bike with straight pipes choked and warming up at 6:30am.

Get your lawn mower, weed wacker, blower, and chain saw out at 8 am the next morning.

I'd also write a letter to owner.

Sounds like a typical renter. You can contact the county assessor's office or recorder's office for information on the home owner.

Landlords don't like renters that cause issues for the neighborhood, it can only hurt their investment.

+1.

Sounds like you next move is to contact the actual landlord. Write a well thought out letter explaining the issue. If you can talk to some of your neighbors, it never hurts to have a few extra signitures on the letter when you send it to the landlord. Keep a copy of the letter in case you need it later.

Next or maybe before hand I would try stopping in to your local police station. Talk to a supervisor on duty about your problem and see what they can suggest as a solution. Let them know you have complained numerous times to the person renting the place and also have complained to the police. If there is any kind of noise ordinance in your city (almost deffinitely) the guy should have been fined by now.

Your final option may be trying to get a judge to put an injunction against the renter or a small claims case against the renter/landlord (if the landlord doesn't do anything about it after being made aware).

Oh, also ask the landlord to inform you of any action he/she is taking.

+1000. I was just about to suggest this for 7:30am, night after one of their parties. Let that leaf blower whine for an hour or more.
