dammit!

i cracked my comp screen :x. and hp is telling me its 398$ to replace -__-. and wats more annoying, i need to keep pressure on it so the whole screen doesnt go all crazy

wheres the shoot self emotion when u need one!!!

if desktop, just buy a new monitor.. cheaper that way (depending on how big)

if laptop, ur screwed...

lol laptop, hence the $398 for replacement screen from HP. i knew i shouldnt have gotten HP again :x

w/e ill just get a used monitor off craigslist i guess and use the money the person who broke it gives me to buy parts for my MZ3!!!

you can use it as a desktop and just hook it up to a regular monitor!

that's what i'm doing now. I found a nice brand new monitor for 100 bucks.

yeah thats what i did. got a used one for 50 bucks it not bad. its one of the sq ones though so i dont like it. but eh ill deal with it. i kinda wish i didnt sell my custom desktop comp. it was tight. 21" widescreen samsung monitor...very nice computer too...T_T. i might go back who knows. i have to sell this laptop thought dang. who would buy it lol.

I used to game like crazy on PC, but then I got busy. Bought a PS3 and now use a laptop for portability. Went back to college and needed something that I could take to class and use for notes. Now, I haven't PC gamed in years and just play my PS3 now. A laptop is a requirement for me now.

whats funny is i have a similar problem, not cracked, but it would get crazy til nothing would work til i placed pressure on it...

my solution was to add a piece of folded paper between the monitor and the trim so it'd put pressure where the problem is...all fixed.
