iPhone 3G S

Who's getting it! June 19th! I went to the AT&T store to ask a few questions today, I guess the guy said it will just cost me the price of the phone to upgrade from my 3G to the 3G S. Looks like it has some cool new features but I was hoping for a lot more to it....like a longer battery life....

Re: iPhone 3G S

Current 3g owners will have to pay a higher premium to upgrade to 3g S.

AT&T customers who want to upgrade from another phone or replace an iPhone 3G, the price with a new two-year agreement is $499 (8GB), $599 (16GB), or $699 (32GB).

It may be cheaper to incur the early termination fee of $175 than pay the added premium to replace under your current plan.

Luckily I can upgrade under my corporate plan without incurring any added fees.

Re: iPhone 3G S

you might want to confirm that, alot of people are complaining because AT&T are not letting everyone get it at apples cost (200 for 16gb) you can check here https://buyiphone.apple.com/WebObjects/IPACustomer.woa/

I plan on getting it on the 19th depending on how much I can sell my current one for

Re: iPhone 3G S

I just purchased a 3G last week (I've been with AT&T for a long time and only had to pay $199 for the 8 gig. I'm also on a corporate plan). Since I purchased my phone within 30 days of the new one coming out, I am able to take advantage of the pricing that hit market yesterday. I received the difference in price today, including some of the tax back.

I'm happy.

Re: iPhone 3G S

I'm getting it. I might not get it right away since I need to let my family plan expire so I can split the lines apart. Either way it will be mine!
