thinking about maybe getting a toy, help me out

ok so an option i could have is either sell my 3 down the road and get a sports sedan or i could keep my 3 for as long as i can and get i a toy. so if i go the toy route id like a to get a sporty smaller car that is either rwd or awd, im not interested in a convertible my wife has one and im over it. id be looking for something under 10k and the miles arent all the important nor is age if its in good sharp. id just like something fun to drive and some of the cars ive thought about are older camaro, corvette, maybe a fox body mustang, or something like a older muscle car or el camino. help me out with any other cars you can think of. this wouldnt be for a while but its something ive been thinking of.

well the first thing that comes to mind is a 90's something miata with a hard top so its "not a convertable persay" its RWD and very fun to drive. Something else small would be a rx 7 with an v8 swap. small RWD and muscle car!

i allways wanted a Miata with like ~300rwhp. I love rx-7s but there high maintnance. the second gen mr2 turbos are nice too, but the Miata is a ballsy go-cart, sounds like so much fun.

all great options, keep them coming. im not sure if i can even fit in a miata, i cant fit in a sky/solstice comfortably(tall and lanky). it doesnt seem like there are alot of mr2s out there but the 240, 300, heck even a higher mileage 350z is possible.

I'm also thinking of doing this eventually.... so far I think a 2004-2006 350Z is the best bang for the buck a decent one runs 10-11K. I'm personally not a fan of the fox body mustangs and 60s-70s muscle cars are just out of my price range. A few BMW Z3 s are out there, but I cringe at how much maintenance on a BMW is...my buddy has a 330i... something over $150 for an oil change!

You need a suggestion to spend this kind of money? You should already know exactly what you want and what you want to do to it. If not..you never wanted it that bad.
