reporting dabears2k.com to the bbb

Ok so I bought a set of cdi cdfp internals drom dabears2k and they dailed like they ussually do and cdi went out of buisness I went to dabears and asked for a refund and he has denied a refund for a deffective item. What I'm looking for is a list of people that has had similar experiences with this particular vendor so we can try to get our money back or so we all can report this croock to the bbb. Thanks for reading

i know he is a little bit shady but usually warranty on parts is with the manufacturer, if they go out of business unfortunately that is the risk of the customer and not the retailer. because if they were still in business they would probably just replace the pump and repair the faulty one you send back...so not really much of a loss to them to warranty the pump. what is he supposed to replace your faulty pump with? realistically giving you another pump is gonna come right out of his own pocket and he is gonna end up losing money.

btw, I had a hard time reading your post.

In regards to the OP. I want to make sure this thread stays on topic and factual. I can see this getting out of hand quickly... so let's keep this civil.

There are actually 2 manufacturers that are no longer in the fuel pump business. Do a search on MSF for AFCadet's thread called "Upgraded CDFP internals possibly failing."

Mods: Tint, Teflon, Escort 9500i, De-badged, MS CAI w/Straightener, SharkFin, Horn, Denso ITV22 plugs, Potenza RE760 225/45-18, TWM Short Throw Shifter w/Bushings.

where did you get pump from? It sounds lik ehe ordered "internals"

from what i can tell in the OP, he hasn't received any parts.

which means if dabears cannot produce the parts he paid for, he should be refunded.

christian is hispanic and english is his 2nd language. so bare with him.

i would try to go through the original vendor instead of dabears2k.com since you already received the internals.
once you received the parts and they failed after install, it's out of db2k's hands.

Re: reporting dabears2k.com to the bbb

yeah I gotcha now. So you had the parts, they failed. The warranty should be with the manufacturer....ask dabears or PG to get you the info you need to contact the manufacturer as well, keep all your avenues open
