Cheap HDMI vs Monster Component cables?

Which would you recomend? Currently I'm using a $20 HDMI cable from Walmart. Most movies are pretty grainy. I'm highly disappointed. I just found my nice Monster Component cables and am about to switch them out.

Which do you think will look better? And, component supports 1080P right?

Thanks!

Corrent component won't do 1080p. HDMI, DVI, VGA all will.

As for monster cables, you are just paying for the name. I run ION cables, Belkin cables (20$ a piece), and whatever brand comes with the PS3. They are all cheap cables and do their job. I've had expensive ones, and I have had cheap ones and there is no difference. Monoprice.com is a great place to get quality ones.

right...spending a lot on a monster cable is dumb. you should be good with a $6 cable.

if theres grain its probably something else causing it

Yeah a lot of older movies on bluray are grainy. There are only a few near flawless movies. One of the best I've seen so far:

I see quite a few blurays in a month too, I have a ZIP membership (like Netflix but a Canadian thing). I convert them all too.
