Wosrt Drivers are from Ny and Nj (No duh)

They needed a test to prove this, like a simple drive through either state wouldnt have proven it. But at leasy NY has an excuse, NYC.

I'm in NY, I took the test and got a 95% lol.

The results are probably a bit skewed. It says the worst drivers are found in the Northeast but that's also the most developed region of the country, with the highest population density and the most traffic. Most of the people up in this region are kind of forced to drive a certain way just to avoid accidents.

On the other hand, the test is just a review of the rules of the road, so if people don't know the rules that's another problem entirely.

and just because a person doesnt know the rules doesnt mean they drive bad either. I just wanted to stir up a lil contraversy.

Doesn't seem like the greatest test either, how did they chose the 5000 people? Are these 5000 really representative of the 306 million living here?

So how valid is the study?

Well I live in NY and just took the test and I scored a 90%.

I think there is also a difference with people knowing the rules and following them. At least 4 of the questions on that test I knew the correct answer but that doesn't mean that's how I drive.

Re: Wosrt Drivers are from Ny and Nj (No duh)

Those are the same questions that are on the NYS permit test, or at least they were when I took it back in 2000 lol. I didn't take a written test for my actual license, just a 5-hour class.
