How to Ship a Front Bumper??

I'm trying to ship a front bumper from a private party and am having little luck. All three major shipping companies are telling me it's too large to be shipped by them (UPS, USPS, and FedEx). The dimensions are 68"x28"x22" and weighs 22lbs. I've tried using a special freight service and they told me they won't go to his area in NY because it's too residential and the semi won't fit there, and because the object I'm shipping is "too fragile." Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried calling several parts dealers but nobody is answering to give any help. Thanks!

Cut it into pieces, makes for smaller package and cheaper shipping rate.

used to ship JDM OEM bumpers for AE86 Trueno/Levin via UPS all the time. used to sell them for a living. i take them out of the Toyota box & bubble wrap them nice & tight. bumper brackets & lights i use a separate box for it. make sure you insure it.
