Looking for opinions: Should I go back to stock?

So as some of you know my 3 has quite a long history to it and I'm at a point where I think I want to get a new car in a year or two (preferably a year) and I have a lot of parts I can swap out of it. I have a Microtech EMS that is not on the car, a JS Safeguard, a fully built engine that I could swap for a stock one, coilovers that I would probably replace with a spring/shock combo, a Wideband O2 sensor, etc. Alternatively, I could re-turbo the car.

So I'm looking for some opinions, the two cars I'm looking at getting are a Subaru WRX or a used Elise. I'm not so concerned with "practicality" as if I need a car to move stuff around I have a van I can use or I can just rent a car. If I get a WRX I will be modding it to make it fast, and if I get an Elise I will probably leave it stock for a very long while and then turbo it, assuming the car doesn't get totaled/stolen/fubared from daily driving it.

So yea opinions would be greatly appreciated, and if you are interested in some of the stuff I have feel free to PM me and just vote for me getting one of the other cars.

Titanium Grey HB 5 spd, ABS, Moonroof, Leather seats, Exel RS-GT 17x7.0 Hyperblack 225/45/17 Azenis RT-615, Racing Beat Front/Rear Sway + Endlinks, Mazdaspeed MSP3 Coilovers, 88 AWR Mount, Apexcone 6000k HID, I deturboed my car and removed my built engine. I'm now stock powertrain + an Injen.

if you are looking for an elise, I have a customer who is selling his.

It is a 2005 (iirc) which has been fitted with the PropartsUSA/Tripoint supercharger kit, and has the Exige front and rear end.

Let me know if you are interested and I can check on pricing.

Thanks but I don't want an Elise with a supercharger. If anything I'd turbo the Elise down the line.

Re: Looking for opinions: Should I go back to stock?

I say get an elise since you don't see many on the road and you can throw that thing around like a toy. It looks so nice also and will feel like you are in a go-kart with a race car engine.

I got dibs on your coilovers if you sell them for a decent price.
I got dibs on your engine if you decide to buy a stock engine for cheap and are willing to ship the built one.
I also got dibs on the RB sway bars.

Back on topic !

HAH HAH HAH. Yea ok. If I sell the stuff I'm gonna at least try and recoup some of my costs.

Elise FTW...but don't turbo the 1.8, just swap a K20 into it

linear power is ftw on a track car, not turbo lag

Re: Looking for opinions: Should I go back to stock?

If that's the case then why not save some cash and buy a civic and build it.

Yea well that's what i meant, i'm not asking for the stuff for free . Shit that would be nice though
