Xbox360: To Keep or Not To Keep

Right now I have a 360 (20gb, no HDMI) and new 80gb ps3. Im pretty much in love with the ps3 over the 360 in every way so Im looking to get rid of the 360 BUT, the only thing preventing me is Rock Band! I have the RB1 instruments and both RB1 and RB2 games for 360.
My question: Should I just keep the 360 just to play rock band? Or should I sell the 360 and both RB games (and RB1 instruments), and buy the RB2 bundle for ps3 (will probably get RB1 too)? If I should sell, where?(ebay, online, gamestop, local)?
Thanks for any advice!

Just keep it. I have a 360 and I have not played in months. I am hoping there is a class action lawsuit and I can get some money.

PS3 over 360? Really? You'd pretty much be the first on that one.

I think the PS3 has superior controls over the XBOX; however, the XBOX came out a year before the PS3. XBOX got a good heads up with next gen graphics, and the PS3 launced with some weak next gen graphic games. It launched with Need for Speed Carbon, Heavenly Sword, Resistance: Fall of Man, and some basketball game. Once Drake's Fortune came out for the PS3 the platform has been gaining a significant amount of next gen games. Now you have Fallout 3, Resistance 2, COD's, and other games that look really good. I know Fallout and the COD's are on both platforms and they also look about identical. The onlyl reason I went PS3 route was for the blu ray player and I like how the buttons are layed out more than the XBOX. I play my buddies XBOX too, but I generally only play his fighting games like SC4 or Dead or Alive. Not a big fan of the overall shape of the XBOX controller or the button layout. The PS3 feels so much better in my hands then the XBOX.

LMFAO "oh i thought i didn't need that" i bet in your head you were like "go kick your mom in the ass for me when you get home " 08mazda2.0

I disagree. I've been having this discussion over the last few days with some people. Most people that I have talked to that own both systems prefer their PS3. Unless they are a hardcore Halo player, their PS3 is their preferable console.

[/quote]Yup, 3 main reasons: reliability/stability (so far), noise, free online gaming. Plus a lot of minor things like BD player, wireless internet connection, HDMI port, disk load, built in power supply thingy...

Notice how the games aren't on your list of 3 main reasons. Just saying is all

Yea I feel the 360 has way better games, or at least ones that interest me more. Halo, Gears of War, Ninja Gaiden 2 are just examples, and then the other games I'm interested in are on both platforms. NXE just came out so that should be revamping things a bit, the 360's all have hdmi now, and you can stream HD netflix movies directly to your xbox, not to mention you can use your 360 as a media extender if you have media center on any of your computers.

That and it's cheaper. PS3 was a good deal when it had backwards compatibility but since they are removing it it just doesn't seem like as good a deal. Blu-Ray is nice though, I will give it that.

EDIT: Modfied the post to clarify that you can stream HD netflix movies.

Titanium Grey HB 5 spd, ABS, Moonroof, Leather seats, Exel RS-GT 17x7.0 Hyperblack 225/45/17 Azenis RT-615, Racing Beat Front/Rear Sway + Endlinks, Mazdaspeed MSP3 Coilovers, 88 AWR Mount, Apexcone 6000k HID, I deturboed my car and removed my built engine. I'm now stock powertrain + an Injen.
