So I have an amusing scenario and interesting choice before me.  To start from the beginning, I work at a bank.  One of our business accounts is 'Saigon Passion III Ultra Lounge'.  You may be able to imagine what kind of business that is
The owner is a regular customer who ended up running into a lot of trouble with the account, and I helped him out with a bunch of things to get it back on track.  Well actually the bank ended up forcing him to close the account and flagged him as DO NOT BANK, but there were no hard feelings and he still comes by once in a while.
He recently approached me with a proposition that is clearly kind of ridiculous and shady, but for some reason I am still considering it.  He wants me to go to Vietnam to meet his niece, and not suprisingly, the end goal is for things to work out so I can get her into America.  It would be an all expense paid trip
for about two weeks, and I have more than enough vacation time to cover it (unless the bank realizes my manager only reported one week out of my two month medical leave when I broke my arm hahaha).  If things dont work out, no harm done, so he says.
The reasons I shouldnt go are many and various, so I leave that to you to discuss.  However, one reason I do want to go is a growing sense of wanderlust.  Vietnam has its issues, but it would be a very interesting trip and I know parts of it are very beautiful.  I have only been out of the country once, and I was too young to really appreciate it (Plus Stockholm is freakin cold).  I would definitely be on the look out for new car parts while I am there too.  The girl is actually pretty cute and apparently very smart and from a rich family, but to be honest I am pretty damn hesitant to get involved with her/all that.  That makes me feel bad because I would just be using my customer to see Vietnam.
Speaking of the customer, its hard to really judge him.  He dresses like a creep and of course there is the whole strip club owner thing, but he has a wife and a little boy who I see around town together from time to time.  He cant manage his money very well, but he does drive a brand new, red SLK.  Nobody at the bank trusts him because of the cons I just listed, even though he has never
been anything but cordial and respectful.  Its kind of a tough call.
So I dunno, I am definitely eager to visit another country, but its kind of a whack situation.  What do you guys think? :P
