Who else is hiding from trick-or-treaters?

I didn't buy any candy this year so I'm hiding out in my bedroom with all the lights in my house turned off. Anyone else?

Re: Who else is hiding from trick-or-treaters?

My wife enjoys greeting trick-or-treaters with her sister-in-law (our neighbor); however, I usually stay home with the porch light off or go out for the evening. I'm a teacher, so I deal with enough children daily. *heh* Also, we live in a suburb/rural-type area, so we may only see 20-30 trick-or-treaters. So, never a big deal around my parts.

My wife bought candy, but she wasn't home until close to 7 and I was in the basement making speaker brackets, and then the front door broke. So fortunately I was spared ever having to deal with the children, and as an added bonus we now have lots of candy in the house

Yay, for living in an apartment plus having a kid. First off, I wasn't home, secondly I went to the nice affluent neighborhood so she got good candy.

I don't need to hide from trick or treaters. We have a whole bag of candy waiting for anyone willing to brave my driveway, which I highlighted in red.

Suffice to say, in the almost 10 years I've lived here, we've never gotten a single trick or treater.

Titanium Grey HB 5 spd, ABS, Moonroof, Leather seats, Exel RS-GT 17x7.0 Hyperblack 225/45/17 Azenis RT-615, Racing Beat Front/Rear Sway + Endlinks, Mazdaspeed MSP3 Coilovers, 88 AWR Mount, Apexcone 6000k HID, I deturboed my car and removed my built engine. I'm now stock powertrain + an Injen.

Hehe, lucky. And even if they make it halfway up the driveway they'll get distracted by your closest neighbor's house :P

LOL!!! Just in case this gets leaked onto the internet (not me), you should set up an obstacle course for next year.

Re: Who else is hiding from trick-or-treaters?

The first year that my wife and I lived in our house we lost count at 200 trick or treaters. I had to go out to buy Candy TWICE during the night! Back then we were one of the few "developments" in our little town. Now we don't get too many and we have kinda lost enthusiasm. We decorate and hand out treats every other year or so. This was a "hide out" year. We watched movies with the lights off. Still, one dumbass did ring our doorbell even though it was pitch black on our porch.
