i need more contacts but i don't feel like spending another $100 on a freaking eye exam. i just ordered some from 1800contacts.com, but it says they need to confirm my rx with my doctor. does anyone know of a way i can get some god damn contacts without paying for an eye exam i don't need?

Re: contacts

Yeah I keep putting down my opthomoligists name and I haven't been to see him in probably 4 years now. I have no clue if they actually contact them or not. I would bet that they do if you have never used that Doctors information before, but I doubt they do subsequently (and they might if you 'change' what your prescription is in their system).

I need to go in for a checkup one of these days soon as my prescription has finally changed. I think I need about another -.25 correction on both eyes as I have noticed my vision has worsened to maybe 20/30 with my contacts in.

I also wear my 2 week disposibles for 4-8 weeks before I toss them. Doesn't give me any problems.

Re: contacts

I think I need to do this too, seeing as I don't have vision insurance, yet alone health insurance, and I just threw my last pair of contacts away since one of the lenses tore.

i was afraid of the same thing, just put down your eye doctor and they just verify your prescription. I got my order in like a week...i havent been to my eye doctor in like 3 years...it shouldn't be a problem
