He fabbed pretty much everything himself. Took 10 years in his spare time, but sooo worth it I'm sure. That's just nuts...

Question is, how do the Lamborghini folks feel about this guy putting their name on a car with corvette wheels and what I would imagine is probably an american engine?

^^^

"installed a thoroughly massaged 351 cubic inch V8 with a ZF-25 5-speed transmission"

351 Windsor or some other variety of it

Yeah, it definitely sounds like American V8 power that's for sure. I believe the original Countach he's copying used a similar bored and stroked engine too, though. Lambo engines didn't get into the exotic realm of current V12-eque stuff for a while after this car was last produced. But regardless of the drivetrain involved, it's just ridiculously cool that he built that entire chassis and body from SCRATCH.

I really wonder how this thing it handles though... I bet really well, as I'm sure this guy knows what he's doing in every aspect of automotive design. But probably a lot different than an actual countach.

I bet it handles quite well, the amount of work that went into that is just staggering

it doesn't really matter what kind of components he uses, virtually everything about that car is custom fabricated. I am still in shock and awe

The Countach was born with a V12, and so was the Miura before it. You may be thinking of the DeTomaso Pantera - it had a 351 in it.

This guy did an awesome job though, love the velocity stacks!
