To all the Motorcylist Enthusiasts out there

http://wjz.com/local/accident.motorcycle.2.838501.html

What will it take for motorcyclists to start slowing down???? It's inexusable for those who drive so recklessly..

On another tone, this accident caused traffic including myself to be stuck on Route 95 for 2 hours.. we coulda had a party right on the highway! Eventually cops decided to let people turn around and go north on 95 and take an onramp for 895.... that was pretty interesting.

Re: To all the Motorcylist Enthusiasts out there

I agree.. just a day before that, one decided to pass probably at least 40 mph faster then I was going (speed limit), but then what was worse was being scared shitless by one behind it flying between myself and the car in the left lane next to me... that reaction time for me to realize what just happened, can cause accidents by surrounding motorists like myself. How can we honestly watch out for those who fly past you so quickly? That is the fault 100% of the motorcyclists, hands down.

As for this story, I hope this loser comes forward, but chances are none of those will confess to being on the road with their dead companion as they hide in shame. The worst part is, they will continue to ride like that, and not take a hint of what just happened to probably a close friend of theirs. What happened with the other bike involved most likely would tell the whole story, as I'm assuming they left it behind since the other driver involved in the accident fled on a friends bike. If the tags still on the vehicle, police would definitely have already caught him by now.

How about a bike hitting a disabled car with enough force to flip the car :

Re: To all the Motorcylist Enthusiasts out there

Until recently I owned a 2006 Kawasaki ZX6R 636. Every time I was on the thing I was really worried about other drivers or sand or just other dickholes on bikes. I sold the bike in September, because I fell out of love with it and it scared me a bit. If I do get another it will definitely not be a super sport bike again. But all the other kids that live around me that had bikes or friends of mine that had bikes were not really fun to ride with because they would want to go 100mph everywhere or just be out right reckless, so I stopped riding with them.

Bikes are not something that should be fooled around with. Especially since you have about 1/8" protection from whatever you are going to hit when you get ejected. Thinking about that every time you go and ride definitely kills the fun.
