Do you ever....

When you're at work do you ever go out of your way to take a peek at your car? I work in an office/warehouse and sometimes I'll round up some recyclables just so I can take them outside to the dumpster so I can see my car in the parking lot, is that strange? I bet some of you probably take the long way around the office so you can go by the window that looks out towards your car.

Re: Do you ever....

I don't try and look at my car really to see if it's ok, but more so just to admire it.

LOL same here. I found a spot that's not really a spot, kind of in between a bush and a sidewalk. No one seems to complain that I park there, and no one else ever takes it. Keeps people from denting it...

End spots ftw! Or I park next to someone who I know cares about their car and others around them! Like if someone else gets the end spots and parks further to the right side...I'll park next to them!

Selling my Mazdaspeed3.

Re: Do you ever....

People ask me all the time, "Why in hell do you park so far away?" Bad experince with my truck, some a$$hole with a rusty van took his door and went three inches into my door. The guy had no insurrance and was a lowlife POS. I was walking to my truck and saw the whole thing. Insurrance covered the damage, but it was still a claim against me and my truck, which had a clean slate untill then. Ever since then, I park far away and if anyone parks near, I get pissed and park further away.

Re: Do you ever....

yea i park far away at work. actually most of the "car" guys park in the back lot with me and we all respect the cars so they leave a bunch of parking spots in between us. it's kinda nice actually. i don't have to worry about a thing.

for this reason i don't walk that far outside to see my car.

but if i'm out doing errands i always stare at my car the entire time coming out from the store. i like to see how my car looks from a distance and different angles

Re: Do you ever....

I park in an end spot too and once a female client was pulling out of her spot next to mine and somehow managed to knick my right rear bumper/fenderwell. I mean, how hard is it to back out of a parking spot without hitting the car next to you, her insurance covered everything but it's still a hassel having to get a rental car and have the car fixed.
