Re: Horror Movies

I actually just saw the exorcist for the first time a few months ago. Its a shame I know. Horror movies dont really phase me at all but the sounds the girl makes freaks me out. Yikes! Anything religion related has always seemed to spook me a little.

Re: Horror Movies

I cant do a lot of horror movies... Im extremely paranoid as it is so add a horror movie and my very active imagination into the mix and its not a good thing at all!!!! I have seen a couple of the saw movies which were pretty good I thought and house of wax. I dont know if youd call them horror movies but Ive also seen the I know what you did last summer and like 1 of the scream movies.

Re: Horror Movies

I remember watching Halloween H20 with my best friend my senior year of high school on Halloween. He hates horror movies and spent 90% of the movie pacing the other side of the basement refusing to watch the movie.

I can't really say there are any horror movies that consitently scare me. Its hard to do. I don't watch many horror movies, probably because I find the plot lines boring and predictable and I pretty much don't scare. Some 'creepy/scary' alien movies occasionally creep me out or scare me, but nothing 'consistent'.

Re: Horror Movies

For me anything dealing with the super natural or religion usually freaks me out as well. Slasher flicks such as Friday the 13th or Halloween usually doesn't bother me.

Re: Horror Movies

I'm not a huge fan of horror movies, but my boyfriend is. He wants to see that movie Quarantine when it comes out lol. I saw SAW 1 and 2, but they didn't really scare so much. The only part in either of those movies was in the second one, where the girl had to fish for the key in the pit of....needles! AHH!! I hate those things....ok new subject.

Oh, the most recent Amityville Horror was pretty crazy (the one with Ryan Reynolds). I don't really remember a whole lot, but the part where they were in the basement or something, and there were prison cells (?). That was freaky lol.

Re: Horror Movies

I love zombie movies . . . Dawn of the Dead, NOTLD, 28 Days/Weeks Later, Resident Evil (#1 only) . . . they don't really scare me anymore, though. Ghost stories always scare me no matter how many times I watch them: Poltergeist, House on Haunted Hill, The Ring, The Grudge and more than any other Ghost Story. Also, for some reason, Darkness Falls scared the ever loving crap outta me . . . so much so that I have never watched it again. That one scene where they are in the lighthouse and you can see the Tooth Fairy up at the top of the screen. Holy crap!!!
