GRrRR Stup!d K!ds!! *VENT*

SO there I was.. in my living room.. talking to my wife and my father in law about a new roof for the house..
Then all of a sudden *THUMP* .. W T F was that? -- Ran outside.. looked around and Found a freaking
DENT on my HOOD!!!

Looking around all I see are neighborhood kids running around skateboarding down the hill (I live on the bottom of the hill)..
So after I go back inside my house, I see some kids looking around my front Lawn.. SO I go out there and asked what did they want..

-_-

They came up and asked for the golf ball they threw in the air and hit my car with..

So I was just shocked.. then my wife picked up her cell phone called the police to file a report and me standing outside yelling at kids to get off my property..

pics later.. it's 7pm already.. dark outside.. .. sorry had to vent out more.

Oh man tell me about it ... I was home from work today, and after school all the kids just come TEARING through the neighborhood...through my backyard, along the side of the house (not the driveway side), right past my car while it's jacked up and I'm under it. I was just waiting for one of them to get smacked into the rear bumper...

Damn that sucks. Also, Alec, go buy some rhino ramps for $60...its worth not being dead if something goes wrong.

Dude, that sucks! Parents should be liable, I think their homeowners might cover it.

I feel your pain. I was up in my room and heard thumping on the roof. Apparently the neighborhood kids thought it was fun to throw rocks and tanbark at the pidgins nesting on my roof... when the debris would tumble down and land on our cars in the driveway. Now I have an airsoft gun, for the kids... and the pidgins. They don't come round' no more.

But I just dropped that much on a low-profile jack!! Nah, I feel pretty safe with the jackstands, with those the car is up on 6 legs plus the back wheels. I do need to get some better stands though, with wider feet, because the old ones I use tend to sink into the driveway a bit

That is exactly why I fear for my car when I leave her outside. Luckily, I live at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. But I still hate having to park in the driveway, as opposed to being in the safe garage

My big car occupies the spot in the garage so I have to park in the driveway. Luckily no kids in the neighborhhod really. In my old neighborhood I had to park on the street. I have two nice dents on my door from back then. One were someone obviudly hit it a little bit and drove off (I can see the scrape marks).

ouch that sucks..

well the police came and took a report.. spoke with the kids and spoke with their parents.
We didn't press charges.. kid is only 14 yrs old.. even though it was an accident.. but whatever..
Heading to a body shop in the morning to see how much it will cost to get that dent out.. golf ball dent..
doesn't look to severe.. hopefully it won't be anything.

some may think we went too far - calling a police and all.. but my baby is only 4 months old!!
and not even a dent or scratch on it....
