Is there a way to avoid photo radar?

Hello,

After getting another photo radar ticket today, I figured I would ask if any of you know of a way to beat it? I tried that Photo Blocker Spray or whatever, and it is complete shit, doesn't work. I see a ton of people with a plastic cover over their license plate, and I was wondering if that actually works? Or, if there is any other way to make your license plate not show up for photo radar tickets?

Not really and none of that is legal. The only one I know if is the one where it is a polarized plastic cover where unless you are looking almost straight on to the license plate it obscures it completely. Downside, again illegal and VERY easy to notice...you are likely to get pulled over and ticketed for it.

Best way to beat it, don't speed if you know there could be photo radar around (or heck just don't speed).

I don't care if what ever solution is legal, it is guaranteed to cost less than the amount of BS photo radar tickets I have got in the past year. And I also didn't ask for a "don't speed" sermon.

Do you have a link to these polarized plastic covers?

Re: Is there a way to avoid photo radar?

Does Albert stick you with points for the photo radar? I am not well versed on the driving laws in the Canadian Provinces, but at least in most states photo radar and red light cameras can't stick you with points. A pull over for something like obscuring your license plate can get you stuck with a lot of points on top of a big ticket.
