Need Advice For MP3 Battery

im looking to buy a cheap replacement battery for my mp3 player. the oem battery is 3.7V 680mAH.

the ones i see on ebay are the same voltage but its 850mAH.

they said its made for that mp3 player but not oem.

does the mAH matter?

Re: Need Advice For MP3 Battery

mAH stands for milliamp hours, which is a way to measure the capacity of the battery. More mAH = more capacity. The only thing you'd have to worry about is if the MP3 player's charger is capable of detecting when the battery is "peaked" or full. Since peak detecting battery chargers are pretty common, it's very likely that your MP3 player has one. So, short answer (after all that) is no, mAH doesn't matter much.
