I dont understand people.. if anyone knows how to remove r6 fairgins please help

So one of my roommates owns a new 2008 Yamaha YZF-R6. Nothing wrong with it what so ever, he babies it just like I baby my car.. Well he got together with some people to go riding tonight and just chill. One of our friends wanted him to ride over to this party to he can check out his bike. Ryan is always glad to show off his R6, of course he goes over there. When he arrives, some idiots were getting kicked out of the house for being drunk and stupid. Right after he gets in he talks to a couple people and our friend asks him to show him the bike.

Seconds later our friend comes back in saying Ryan's bike is on its side. One of the kids that were kicked out decided that it would be a grand idea to kick the right hand side of the bike to where it fell on another person's car. It dented the tank of the bike, shifted the tank to the left, skratched the left fairing where it was kicked, damaged the wiring inside the right fairing to where his turing lights wont work, bent the handle bars and mirror, scrached the windshield, and cracked the bracket where the mirror is connected to the bike.. After they did that they also decided that his bike must look good with some beer spilt all over it aswell..

Its like come on people... This is something that Ryan's putting his hard time and effort into and had nothing to deal with them and yet they did this to him....

Now we need to get into the right fairing to fix what ever loose wiring there is now, but we can't remove it all the way, so if anyone has any idea on how to remove the fairings this would be greatly helpful. We removed all the bolts, but there is a quick fastener just behind the "shark fin" on the mid/lower fairing that we can't figure out. So Please, any help would be great..

Thanks

Kevin (and Ryan)

I suggest find out who it was and beat the shit out of all their cars, won't fix your friends damage but sure would make him feel better.

This is the reason i never drive my car to parties, if i have to i park far away from the party so assholes like these don't throw a beer at my car because they think they are rough shit. I hope you find them and give them what they deserve.

To take my 04 fairings off, all i have to do is take out the screws on the side and behind the wheel. It just pops right off.
