Speed Kills

This accident happened last night about a mile from where my parents live. Story in short:

Two men are hospitalized after having their limbs severed. All of the dead and injured were in a Nissan that slammed into a tree late Wednesday. The car was believed to be racing with two others.

Sad to see this kind of stuff happen. I would hope that most of us in this forum are smarter than they were...

Re: Speed Kills

I read the report and from my understanding, the police clearly stated that, there is no doubt that she was definitely racing. While that being said, I believe that the other racers, should not be charged with "murder in connection with accident", that's a bunch of bullshit, he should be charged with reckless driving and speeding/street racing, all parties were involved in the racing incident. It isn't the other drivers fault that the lady who was pregnant, and had her sister as a passenger, was the epic failure of a race....

Re: Speed Kills

It wasn't the speed that killed, it was the inability of the driver, and the fact that street racing is IDIOTIC. I am not trying to be mean, but.... Darwinism usually sorts the world out.

Such a sad story... I feel bad for the parents. Who the hell drives (let alone RACES) when you're a month from giving birth?
