Clean Access Agent?

Has anybody heard of or had to use an internet safety program called Clean Access Agent? My school is making us use it, and I can not figure out how to make my wireless work?

I think I need to spoof the network to make it think my wireless router is a XBOX360 or PDA with internet capabilities(i.e. iPwn/Crackberry)

Re: Clean Access Agent?

I think it checks your device to make sure it's "safe", meaning has all MS critical patched installed and AV loaded with current definitions...

I think Clean Access is a Cisco product. Its a NAC and compliance checker. You shouldn't be able to use your endpoint as a router.

Mods: Tint, Teflon, Escort 9500i, De-badged, MS CAI w/Straightener, SharkFin, Horn, Denso ITV22 plugs, Potenza RE760 225/45-18, TWM Short Throw Shifter w/Bushings.

Re: Clean Access Agent?

I had the same problems at the University of Missouri when I went there. Couldn't get my wireless router to get a signal from the wall jack, but my desktop worked just fine with that stupid software on there. Not being the one to be tied to the wall with my laptop, I cheated. tossed in another NIC card in my desktop, hooked the router up to that, left my desktop on constantly, and voila, laptop and xbox now had internet access!

Egad. Only probably doing it because people didn't take responsibility for their own computers. So why not make everyone suffer because of a bunch of morons
