Ideas for a Warehouse Building... What to do with it?

My uncle will give me a 4800SF warehouse in southern california in an industrial area if only I can give him a good idea of what I would use it for.

He used to lease it to some granite company, but they've been late on payments and now he's pulling the plug on them.

So in the mean time I can do what I want with it, as long as he approves. One idea was warehouse night club though that sounds like it can flop pretty bad and I'm not much of a PR guy.

Any crazy Ideas?

paintball comes to mind.
You could also throw together a conglomeration deal- maybe some rock climbing walls, a wide open floor area for conventions & perhaps car shows/meets, maybe a few lifts if you want to run a performance shop in the corner..

Re: Ideas for a Warehouse Building... What to do with it?

How tall are the ceilings?

If they are tall enough, make a loft area, live in the upper part and run a performance shop down below, thats what I would do.

But then again, my idea of a dream house is a pole barn / metal building about 50x100 feet, have the upper area be my home and the bottom area be my massively cool garage. Wouldn't be terribly expensive either, I could build it the way I wanted it for like $50k.

A revolution gets its name by always coming back around in your face.
