PS3 or 360? Help

okay here's the story i have been thinking of selling my 360 for a PS3 problem is i'm not sure which console i like most, once i said i might sell a friend of ours said he would give me $300 for the 360 and now that i have to answer i'm wondering should i do it, i kind of want the blue-ray technology but i play alot of shooter games and i think the gameplay on the 360 is better, someone give me pros and cons so i can make this decision. BTW i never played PS3

Re: PS3 or 360? Help

The 360, quite simply, has so many more good games... AFAIK PS3 has yet to come out with a true Killer App, while Xbox definitely has a few (if that's even possible to have multiple Killer Apps) in Halo 3, Gears of War, Call of Duty IV...need I go on

+1Million

Well I'm not a big gamer fan, in fact the only game console that I used to have was the Playstation ONE the original. And the only game that I ever bought was Gran Turismo 2. But my friends are big gamers and I have play both PS3 and 360. Didn't really like the 360, it is not bad but things like you have to pay to use the internet (correct me if I'm wrong) and that there is no other use for it other than to play games. The PS3 on the other hand you don't have to pay for internet just plug it in and go and you can browse the internet like a regular PC. The other factor is the Blue-ray especially now that we know that this is the technology that would stay. The thing that I don't like is too sensitive I have already know of two cases of PS3 breaking down. But when I compare that to all the cases of damage XBox that I know; it really isn't that big of a deal.

So my honest opinion I will prefer the PS3

and as I always say this is a personal opinion

I say go 360 the only reason to go ps3 is gran turismo i love that game but i cant play the same game all the time just my opinion

You could be a redneck if you were just married and you have nothing but empty Skoal cans strung from your bumper as you leave the church.

I'm glad you made up your mind, but I feel I must add to this. I have both, and my PS3 has become a dust collector. I really REALLY like my 360 more.
