northmiler89 : Epic Fail

I just want to let everyone know the deal that is going on between me and northmiler89 (Brandon).

Back on July 15th, I bought a Corksport FMIC from him and paid right away. He told me needed to find a box big enough to ship it in (I don't know why he didn't already have one if he had it for sale) and I told him it's fine, as long as he keeps me updated.

I sent numerous e-mails and PMs to him over 12 days trying to find out what the hell is going on. No answer. He logged into the forums once over the time but did not return my PM. I thought I was getting screwed and filed a PayPal dispute. The next day he responded to the Paypal dispute saying he was still looking for a box. I said fine, just keep me updated.

It's now 11 days later again and I haven't heard a single thing from him at all. Not a quick PM, e-mail or anything updating me on the status of finding a box or if he even plans on shipping out the item. I was left with no choice but to escalate my Paypal dispute to a claim to try and recover my $535.

I know everybody says he is a slow shipper, but to not even bother to take 2 minutes to send me an e-mail or PM giving me an update makes me think he is taking my money and making a run for it. I was pissed the first week, now being over 3 weeks old I've just given up on properly resolving this.

So just beware if you buy something from him, I may be learning the hard way.

this is by far not the 1st time this has happened. I really would flag him if the forum was capable from doing such a thing. Even he didn't cause these problems, I would still flag him for being a slow seller. It's not customer friendly. Just leave a negative feedback; its the best you could do to protect other members.

Ya, I left a negative feedback. I wouldn't even be so choked if he kept me updated with a e-mail every couple days just letting me know whats going on.

I also think the forum Buy/Sell rules including banning or suspension for members like this.

He did end up responding. But IMO thats way too long and too much money.

Update: Brandon finally responded to the PayPal dispute. It looks like I'll be getting a refund.
