Paint mess up help me out!

I have been trying to paint my engine cover, i was almost done. All i needed to do was paint the letters. I started to use a marker on them but my hand slipped and then i tried to use some goo gone to wipe it off. Instead it smuged and i made it worse so now i just can't be bothered to re-do the whole dam thing all over again. I was wondering who wants to do this for me for lets say $45.00?. I used up amost 4 cans of spray paint and i can't be bothered to do all of that over again.

Liquid mask, its for rc cars. Spray it over what you dont want painted and go to town. Once dry, peel and boom instant results.

Re: You want to make a bit of extra cash?

There is a paint out there that you paint onto things that you dont want to get painted. (funny eh) So if you are trying to paint your letters, or what I would do, is tape off the letters, then "paint" the surrounded area with this liquid mask. Let it dry then take the tape off of your letters and spray away. Then like a face mask, you would just peel the liquid mask off and its like you never got paint on your surroundings. I used to have a bottle around here, but I misplaced it and cant find it.

Re: You want to make a bit of extra cash?

yea i was watching a video of it just now. Thanks. Where can i get this from though. What happened is that the paint that is around the letters is all balled up and what not i am trying to find a way to sand around the letters which can't prob be done. It's rough around the letters.

Re: You want to make a bit of extra cash?

yea that's what i am doing but the goo gone seeped into the layers of paint so its real soft at one part then real hard at another. I have to wait till its completely dry then i can do anything with it but dam i was so close to finishing....

Soap wasn't working. Now its just sticky and looks fucked up. Wasted about 30$ on this shit and now i got to start over....

Re: Paint mess up help me out!

If you used thinner, it's probably game over and time to buy a new cover to start over.

The thinner probably ate the paint and softened the plastic.
