Skydiving Thoughts/Advise...

I just called and put my deposit for myself and a friend to go skydiving on the 12th. We will be jumping tandem from 13,5000 feet. Anyone have any experience as to what to expect before the jump and any advise to give?

Which is why going beforehand is a good idea.

As far as prepping goes, try not to freak out, you'll be on the ground much sooner than you think, and ignore all the bad jokes the instructors make.

Re: Skydiving Thoughts/Advise...

I went with my friends a few summer ago. After the training, I was all excited and ready to go, and they told us we couldn't jump because it was too cloudy. I was so disappointed. I haven't tried to go again since, and it will probably end up being one of those things I never get around to doing.

Wear shoes with proper ankle support

dont land in any factory that processes peanuts

yelling during the fall is pointless (but fun to try!)

remove pin from hand grenade prior to jumping... company will follow you down!
