Why don't more people choose True Red(A4A) as their colour of choice?

Why don't more people choose True Red(A4A) as their colour of choice?

This really puzzles me....why don't more Mazda owners choose this?
I have it and absolutely love it.

It seems as though ppl choose more common colours like grey, blue, silver, and white.

You don't get tickets unless you do something wrong... you need to get that myth out of your head.

Most people choose grey because they feel it hides dirt and scratches... and yes, they don't like the attention...

I think True Red is a great color, my wife's sedan looks second only to my Crystal White Pearl hatch

I agree. The red car issue is a myth. The people who created the myth are the same people who predicted that gas prices are going to go up. NO...really?????

I believe that red oxidizes.....but what do I know....that could be another expert predictor from the experts.

I love my true red 3. I've driven two red cars and one black car and the only ticket i ever received was in my black car.

I have a red 06. I think it is called velocity red. Has metallic in it. Real purrrty!! Lately I've been drooling on Speed 3's. With the new colors available for 09 I believe I would get the white.

I chose TG because I love silverish cars. I've never wanted to own a red car, never will.

It all boils down to personal preference.

Stove, you seem rather offended that more people don't choose the same colour you did.

Re: Why don't more people choose True Red(A4A) as their colour of choice?

when i went to buy my 3,they only had 2 hatches, one 07 in purple and one 08 in grey and that was it,and i wasnt going to wait because i was afraid of the cvt trannie in my old car,so i bought the purple one because it was cheaper than the 08.i did have a red vehicle once and i believe the paint fades quicker on the red.i remember waxing the red all the time.i would have preferred the grey because it does look cleaner longer but i wasnt going to shell out a couple more thousand just because it was an 08.

Re: Why don't more people choose True Red(A4A) as their colour of choice?

Because I love black. This is my 4th BM Mazda and I don't ever see myself buying another color. Granted TR is a great shade of red, just not for me.
