Cell Phone Location In Your Car

I am looking to find some sort of place or device to hold my cell phone while I am in my car. I hate having to get my cell phone out of my pocket while I am driving. I was wanting to put it some other place then the cup holder. A couple of my friends have a clip for there phones that they have one the sun visor, and i am thinking about doing that. What do you all do with your phone when you get in your car and do you have any seggestions of better places to put the cell phone so you will not miss calls while driving?

I put it on vibe and stick it between my legs.  Yeah you get a jolt when you get a call/message, but you don't miss it.

either in the trunk, or in the glovebox.

I dont talk on the phone when driving. Consider it an investment in the pursuit of dying from old age.

+1 on the pocket. My sun glasses live in that little depression next to the shifter. On long road trips I'll throw my wallet and cell phone in to the cupholder.

Re: Cell Phone Location In Your Car

if you just have to have it handy, and have 2 super-big-gulps in the cupholders, then you could always put a circle of velcro (with a sticky back) on the phone and somewhere on the car... Like on top of the steering column.

I used the velcro technique to keep the remote and keychain from getting wedged between my knees and the steering column. But I dont try to answer that while driving..
