would this piss you off?

i live with 3 other guys (1 is irrelevant in this post). i drive an 07 mazda3, my closest roommate drives a 08 pontiac g8, and another drives a 93 oldsmobile car that's about to fall apart. we only get 1 roofed parking spot. i am very anal when it comes to roofed parking

when we all moved in, my roommate that drives the brand new 08 and me talked about who gets the 1 roofed parking spot. we are both really into cars, both have worked on cars extensively in our life so we decided we would switch off.

then the roommate with a 93 oldsmobile comes and he just parked in our spot. he is not into cars at all and barely knows how they work. we talk to him about it, and he said he doesn't care about roofed parking but would like to park there if it is raining hard cause his car leaks a little. fair enough

he always parks there now. it's become a first come first serve basis. my g8 roommate and i talk about and think wtf why is he parking there when it is bright sunny 90F outside. we never brought it up to him but it is really bothering my g8 roommate and i, but mostly me

i think i should clarify one more thing- the housing and roommate assignment were provided by work. not choice. we have talked to the apartment complex already and they said 1 spot per apartment

what do yall think?

//EDIT- oh yea housing is free so money is not an issue

Is rent paid by work? Whoever parks there should probably pay a little extra for rent....

Re: would this piss you off?

Looks like your not paying for it, so first come first serve.

Re: would this piss you off?

yeah i'd be pissed to, since it sounds like his car is a POS. Really the only thing you can do is talk to him about it. If he doesn't want to move, create a system. You get it on mondays, other guy gets it tuesdays, 3rd dude on wednesdays, etc.

Re: would this piss you off?

i'd be pissed but at the same time i would take it as a grain of salt since covered parking doesn't protect your car from much besides the sun and bird droppings. maybe get a car cover if it really bothers you then you don't have to worry about it.

Yea really, hail sucks and especially knowing that his shit-box is taking a spot over you two....I'd snap

All 3 of you live there for free? I'd put money down to reserve the parking spot on certain days, make it a friggen auction....or just fight to the death!
