Re: What we'll be forced to do when gas gets too high

Or we could just ride bikes and make motorcycle sounds.

I would ride my bike to work, but I do not know if my workplace would allow it.

I mean no hard feelings for what I post on this website. Anything I type/write/post/say on this forum is only that of general debate and discussion. I am not biased toward anyone or anything. I am neutral in everything I do on this website. Only those facts that are presented to me sway my thought process and siding of each discussion topic that I post about.

What is too high?

I keep my car trips to a minimum, and bike when I can... and I still want to take trips, maybe I'll lower my speed to save some fuel there.

Why would they care how you got there? As long as you get there on time, what's the difference?

You would work up a sweat riding your bicycle.

Many employers or offices have showers at work, at least out in the west where people tend to be a bit more active.

Re: What we'll be forced to do when gas gets too high

^ Yup, I've been riding my bike to work for about a month now... it's a hilly 6 mile ride and I get pretty sweaty. I just wear a breathable biking jersey, and bring my work shirt in my messenger bag. Splash of water on the face and change shirts and I'm good to go. Already saved at least $100 in gas and it's actually pretty fun!
